FIELD: waste water treatment. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to treating leather production waste waters either through forced flotation or by electroflotation and can be used for waste waters remaining after skin washing and soak operations. Invention is distinguished by carrying out flotation process at 75-85 C with preliminarily added aluminum-containing flocculant, e.g. aluminum sulfate. Method ensures improved cleaning of waste water containing not only fat and suspended substances but also large amounts of common salt used as skin preservative.
