FIELD: water treatment, in particular, water purification with use of processes of sorption and oxidation; may be used in additional purification of water used for drinking and food preparation. SUBSTANCE: plant is essentially a contact reservoir in the form of closed vessel which accommodates additional apparatus and filter containing adsorbent. New connection between design members provides for reduction of content of suspended matter in purified water with simultaneous rendering harmless of unreacted ozone. Filter with sorbent is installed successively with ejector-mixer and contact reservoir. Filter upper part is connected with apparatus middle part and with lower part of contact reservoir whose upper part is connected with the apparatus middle part. EFFECT: higher quality of purified water due to about 6-fold reduction of suspended matter and practically full removal of ozone from treated ozone-air mixture. 1 cl, 1 dga
