FIELD: glass-making. SUBSTANCE: method consists in forming, on hot glass surface, water-soluble coating containing poliphosphoric and metaphosphoric acids modified by ammonium ions. Coating is applied by spraying aqueous solution containing 1-3% phosphorus pentoxide and 0.1-0.8% ammonium hydroxide.
