FIELD: blast-furnace process; may be used in control of process of iron smelting with locking of burden into furnace through intermediate bins of charging device. SUBSTANCE: method includes charging of burden consisting of coke and ore part, supply of burden to burden bins of charging device, unloading of burden from bins to blast furnace, supply of gas to bins, transfer of gas from emptied bin to bin filled with coke to equalize their pressure; measurement of pressure in emptied bin before and after transfer of gas to bin filled with coke. In this case, pressure drop in emptied bin is used in determination of the current real density of coke, and with deviation of current real density of coke from the averaged value, weight of coke is varied in supply for the value determined by the relation given in the invention Description. EFFECT: more accurate and prompt determination of coke attrition and on this basis to provided for stabilization of heat. 1 dwg
