SUBSTANCE: silicon carbide based powder material consisting of cubic modification of silicon carbide and admixture of hexagonal polytype thereof comprises further comprises carbon dissolved in crystalline lattice of silicon carbide cubic modification of not higher than 1.5 wt % as well as nitride and oxynitride admixtures. Material comprises silicon oxide admixture, thus promoting more rapid thickening of material at early stages of preparation of ceramic products therefrom.
