FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to powder metallurgy, particularly to manufacturing of silicon-carbide ceramic by solid-phase sintering. Method includes blending in a flow of nitrogenous plasma at temperature higher 5400 K silicon and boron classified flour and gas hydrocarbons in mole ratio of silicon and carbon 1:(1.2-1.4), silicon and boron 1 :(0.06-0.08), its interaction, cooling at a rate (0.8-1.2)·105 grad/s and following treatment at boiling by solutions of sodium hydroxide of concentration higher 20% and hydrochloric acid of concentration higher 30%.
EFFECT: invention provides receiving of charge homogeneous by chemical and phase content, with dispersity level and surface condition competent to required for charge during manufacturing of silicon-carbide ceramic by means of solid-phase sintering.
