FIELD: oil production industry. SUBSTANCE: this relates to facilities for cleaning production strings and wells from paraffin and other depositions. Device has power transformer, thyristor converter with control system, current sensor and presetting unit, current regulator, source of voltage of preset frequency, and unit for protection from breaking of load current which is made in the form of successively connected rectifier and comparator. Controlling input of control system is connected with output of current regulator. Connected to input of current regulator are current sensor and presetting unit. Output of control system is connected with controlling input of thyristor converter. Input of thyristor converter is connected through current presetting unit with secondary winding of power transformer. Output of thyristor converter is connected to load. Current presetting unit is connected with source of voltage of required frequency. Application of aforesaid device allows for reduction of installed power of electrical equipment, and for widening functional potentialities of device together with improving reliability and efficiency of heating.
