FIELD: ultrasonic instrumentation engineering; cleaning external and internal heat-transfer surfaces and passages of thermal units; heat power engineering; river ships. SUBSTANCE: method is based on using half-wave rectifier and reservoir capacitor for pairs of switching elements through separation of moments in different periods of supply line voltage, introducing additional flip-flop in control unit and connection of control unit elements by thyristors, power part element and connection of current derivative sensors in power part of device; current derivative sensors are made in form of transformers with cores which are not saturated in the course of measurement of current.
