FIELD: lighting engineering. SUBSTANCE: reflector has working section and stiffening ribs; it is shaped from flat blank by longitudinal and transverse bending. Reflector is multilayer device; outer layer forms external safety enclosure of high mechanical stiffness; inner layer forms internal light-reflecting shell. Stiffening ribs may be internal or external, or both. Internal shell may be also made of several layers. External enclosure and internal shell may be additionally joined together.
