LIGHT FITTING REFLECTOR Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: lighting engineering; lights. SUBSTANCE: light fitting reflector consists of outer and inner envelopes including working profile and stiffening ribs and it is made from plane blanks by transverse-and-cross bending method. Design peculiarity of reflector is that it is made split, and is provided, in addition to meridional ribs, at least one stiffening rib along lower edge of reflector. Envelopes are fixed, owing to elastic forces of their material, when they are fitted one the other. Under extreme operating conditions spacer ring made of elastic material is fitted into recesses of envelope stiffening ribs from inner side over entire perimeter. Spacer ring is installed for quick fitting in and removal. EFFECT: increased economy, improved lighting characteristics. 2 cl, 8 dwg
