FIELD: control of processes inside nuclear reactors including control of fuel burn-out percentage in operating pressure-tube reactors. SUBSTANCE: fuel cycle control involving reactor charging and refueling with programmed rearrangement of fuel assemblies and additional neutron absorbers in process channels is replaced by charging special zones of reactor core with fuel assemblies containing fuel with neutron absorber distributed within them instead of spent fuel assemblies; partially burnt-out fuel assemblies subject to programmed refueling are installed instead of additional neutron absorbers. EFFECT: improved fuel burn-out percentage at high degree of safety and simplified control procedure. 2 cl
