SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the field of intrareactor processes control and may be used in operation of going channel-type reactors. Method for realisation of fuel cycle in nuclear channel-type reactor consists in realisation of program shifts of fuel assemblies, withdrawal of spent fuel assemblies and installation of new fuel assemblies, shifting of control and protection system rods. Periodically cells are detected with characteristics of energy release irregularity by height a3/a1, that exceed value of 0.25 on the basis of neutron flux density distribution irregularity assessment results for fuel assemblies with even initial degree of enrichment by uranium-235. Fuel assemblies with height-profiled degree of initial enrichment are installed instead, and further reactor control is carried out.

EFFECT: higher durability of fuel assemblies operation and completeness of fuel burn-out in their height.
