FIELD: radio engineering, in particular, cryptography. SUBSTANCE: design of described radio-frequency cryptographic system eliminates transmission of key from one user to another, instead it is generated at transmitting and receiving sides simultaneously using synchronous phase correlation of signals with public and private characteristics. This is equivalent to relative synchronization of random number generators of remote users. Method for synchronous key generation involves transmission of one signal, which belongs to pair of signals with opposite phase correlation and different combination frequencies, from one user to another one, while another signal is kept secret is used as secret reference parameter against which received signal is compared. Results of comparison of each pair of signals are independent functions of time, while their correlation is controlled by both users. Correlation meters of users compare signals of adjacent frequencies so that signals with separate spectra are transmitted through communication channel. EFFECT: increased reliability of encryption, because knowledge of public parameters of transmitted signals is not enough for synchronization with analyzing system. 1 dwg
