FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method includes fixing of treating member to patient's body area, provision of contact of treating member with patient's skin and realization of physiotherapeutic treatment by supply of positive electrostatic charges to treating member from generator of electrostatic charges. Voltage of electrostatic field is set depending on age and character of disease of patient within the range of 4.5-22.5 V. The claimed method is realized with the help of device which has treating member, generator of electrostatic charges which is connected with its positive terminal to treating member. It is made of conducting material and has means for its fixation to area of treatment. Treating member is made in the form of unclosed circular member from wire, or in the form of chain, or circular plate. Generator of electrostatic charges may be made in the form of galvanic cells connected in series.
