FIELD: building industry, more particularly concretes that protect from ionizing radiations and concrete preservatives used for solidifying radioactive waste. SUBSTANCE: concrete mix comprises (wt %): 36-40 portland cement; modifying amorphous microsilica additive; 36-40- shungizite filler; 3-6 zeolite filler; and 0.8-1.0 superplasticizer. Concrete mix makes it possible to prepare material with strength of 28 days of not lower than 65 MPa, water proofness of not lower than W-12, air permeability (3.5- 4)*10-10 m/s frost resistance of higher than F-300. Material readily absorbs and retains isotopes SZ-90, Cs- 137, Pu-239 and Am-241. EFFECT: increased radiation resistance of concrete, lower permeability, greater density, strength and durability high fluidity of mixture and capability of absorbing long-lived isotopes. 2 tbl
