SUBSTANCE: invention relates to preparing an enzyme glycerol oxidase (glycerol O2-oxidoreductase) that catalyzes oxidation of glycerol with air oxygen to glyceraldehyde and hydrogen peroxide. Invention relates to a new producer of this enzyme - mycelial fungi Botrytis allii. Biomass is obtained after culturing sowing material on medium the main component of which is hay decoction in the presence of glycerol as a single carbon substrate. Glycerol oxidase in combination with lipase and peroxidase is used for assay of triglycerides that are used for diagnosis of cardiovascular diseases.
