FIELD: microbiological industry, biotechnology. SUBSTANCE: abscisic acid is produced by submerged culturing micromycetes Cercospora sp. F-444 on the nutrient medium containing, wt.-%: vegetable oil 1.5-2.5 or glycerol 2-3; peptone or protein hydrolyzate 0.8-1.2; potassium phosphate 0.2; magnesium sulfate 0.02; potassium sulfate 0.02, and trace element solution. Culture is cultured for 7 days: at 25 C for the first 90-96 h and at 28 C - at the rest period. EFFECT: improved method of abscisic acid producing.
