FIELD: mining industry, evaluation of stress-deformed state of rock mass and diagnosis of it. SUBSTANCE: transmitter-interrupter nearest to source operates with propagation of elastic wave through rock mass and breaks open DC circuit. Then after certain time interval attributed to velocity of wave propagation most distant transmitter interrupter operates and also break open DC circuit. Pulse correspondingly initiating and stopping first counting unit emerges with operation of each transmitter. This unit measures time of wave propagation between two transmitters-interrupters. Wave attenuation is determined by time intervals between breaking and repeat closing of both transmitters-interrupters which are recorded by second and third counting units. EFFECT: increased accuracy of measurement of time of propagation of elastic waves in rock mass and expanded functional capabilities of device due to measurement of wave attenuation. 1 dwg
