FIELD: geophysical investigations predominantly by DC vertical probing, lithological breakdown of inhomogeneous- stratified media of complex structure. SUBSTANCE: circular vertical electric probings are conducted near test borehole in agreement with method of geoelectric prospecting, series of curves of vertical electric probing are obtained, samples of core are taken in stratum with low specific resistance, their specific electric resistances are measured. Specific electric resistances of strata of section ρ₄,ρ₃,ρ₂ and ρ₁ are determined from bottom upwards with the use of transparencies with matched equivalent points.
