SUBSTANCE: optical range finder has lens, erecting optical system, grid, eye-piece, multiscan, diaphragm with illumination, control unit of digital indicators, digital indicators, and optical system for reading the range to object. When lens moves, multiscan records position of light spot power center and generates output signal in form of analog voltage, value of which corresponds to coordinate of power center of this spot.
