FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of optoelectronic technology and can be used for passively measuring distances to objects with indication of its magnitude when targeting the terrain, for aiming at the measured range and in other applications. Optical rangefinder contains a lens that wraps the system, an eyepiece, a base of two mirrors, a lever, a potentiometer, digital indicators, a digital indicator control unit and an optical system for reading indications from digital indicators, while one of the mirrors is located in front of the lens and covers part of the active lens opening, and the second contains the axis of rotation in the center of the mirror and is rigidly connected to one end of the lever, the other end of which comprises a threaded part threaded to the axis of the potentiometer, and the potentiometer is electrically connected to the digital indicator control unit.
EFFECT: technical result is a reduction in overall dimensions and weight, while maintaining an acceptable error in the passive range measurement at the main ranges of the precise firing of SVD-type weapons.
