FIELD: installation of fiber-optic cables on overhead high-voltage lines by means of fastenings. SUBSTANCE: fiber-optic cable to be routed is placed on ground, pulled upward on pole through guide pulleys, deflected, and connected to cable pulling machine, then pulled along ground wire. Fiber-optic cable is secured by means of thimbles starting from far end of overhead line towards initial point using machine for securing with aid of thimbles. Various examples are presented for solving the problem. EFFECT: facilitated procedure and excluding additional mechanical thrusts on fiber-optic cable. 21 cl, 5 dwg
