FIELD: agricultural engineering, in particular, flax harvesters. SUBSTANCE: flax strip turner has frame 1 mounted on carrier wheels 2 and feeler wheel 3. Pickup drum 4, cross-type turning conveyor 5 with guiding rods 7, covering drum 8, drive 9 and spreading conveyor 6 are mounted on frame 1. Spreading conveyor 6 is positioned above output ends of guiding rods 7 of turning conveyor 5. Carrier wheels 2 are positioned adjacent to center of gravity of flax strip turner in the vicinity of rear part of frame 1 and feeler wheel 3 is arranged in front part of frame 1. Pickup drum 4 is attached on frame 1 between feeler and carrier wheels 2,3 and connected with output of drive 9. EFFECT: increased efficiency, enhanced reliability in operation and improved quality of laid flax strips upon turning. 5 cl, 2 dwg
