FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: turner comprises a pickup drum (3) with a gauge wheel (2) mounted on the frame (1), a cross-belt conveyor (4), and the guide rods (5), which together with the loaded strand (6) of the cross-belt conveyor (4) from a screw channel for conveying the belt of the stems, and a rolling drum (7). The drum (3) is equipped with a guide helical surface (9), which is installed under the belt of the loaded strand (6) of the cross-belt conveyor (4) and has its shape. Its two side edges are fixed respectively to the drum shell (3) and on the guide rods (5) of the helical canal in its output part. The guide surface (8) is located from the side of the apical part of the stems. From the butt part of the stems the same surface (9) is mounted over the guide rods (5). The stems turning during the rotating occurs in such a way that the apical and butt parts are located behind the guide surfaces (8, 9).

EFFECT: invention provides increased reliability of operation of the turner of flax stems and quality of the turned flax bands.
