FIELD: crude oil treatment. SUBSTANCE: oil- slime is treated in alternate magnetic field and sprinkled with saline water while being heated and agitated with steam to achieve phase inversion giving oil-in-water emulsion. Oil and water phases are separated by thin- layer settling technique. Saline water from settler is recycled. EFFECT: reduced expenses on oil-slime utilization. 1 dwg
