FIELD: saturation of water with air; flotation units for sewage treatment. SUBSTANCE: carbonator includes pressure tank, upper supply pipe line and lower discharge pipe line, air supply pipe line, ejector, water level indicator and controllable valve. Ejector is mounted between supply pipe line and pressure tank; suction branch pipe of ejector is connected with upper portion of pressure tank and water level indicator is connected to controllable valve fitted in air supply pipe line. EFFECT: increased capacity of carbonator due to enhanced efficiency of dissolving air in water, avoidance of losses of compressed air and automatic operation of carbonator. 2 cl, 3 dwg
