FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: method is used for heap lixiviation of ores and mineralized rock matter. According to method, drilling is performed by coring drill bit with taking core sample. Drilling is carried out after preliminary moistening of rock mass within limited section of dump up to moisture content of 8-10% without delivering water into bore-hole with feed stroke restricted to 0.5 m and spindle rotation speed of 230-250 rpm and at axial thrust created by coring drill bit at bottom hole equal to 3000-4000 N. Application of method allows for obtaining true core sample of crushed rock mass together with preparation of bore-hole for installing casing pipes for further pumping-out of fouled water and lixiviating solutions.
