FIELD: medical technology. SUBSTANCE: this relates to surgical stomatology. After opening cavity of temple-mandible joint and cutting of intrajoint ligaments which lack vital capacity, deformed, and have defects, horizontal cut is made in area of rear-outer edge of joint disk, thus splitting it. Inserted into created passage is porous strip and it is fixed to disk by sutures so that ring is found beyond disk. Second same strip is placed on surface of temple muscle directly above cheek bone arch close to its upper edge at level of rear edge of bilaminar zone of joints and is fixed by sutures to muscle and periosteum of cheek bone arch. Then, one end of superelastic spring is inserted into ring which protrudes from disk. Other end of spring is positioned in ring of strip located on temple muscle. At movement of mandible, spring is extended and compressed ensuring mobility of joint disk. Due to its superelastic property, spring is not getting loose which excludes necessity of subsequent adjustment of its tension and repeated curing. Application of aforesaid procedure saves joint disk, restores its mobility and prevents relapses. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 4 dwg, 1 ex
