FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: this method is used for processing of ferrous gold-bearing ore, heavy concentrates, minerals, and ferrous waste of mining industry. According to method, at first stage of processing, practically almost entire barren rock is removed and this ensures high efficiency in extracting gold at subsequent stage of processing. Process is as follows. Primary material is disintegrated, then solution of muriatic acid is added to primary material and mixture is heated to temperature not below 60 C. At this temperature, obtained mixture is held to mature, then barren rock in the form of liquid phase is removed, and gold concentrate in the form of solid residue is washed, dried, and forwarded for separation of gold either by gravitational method or by means of bromoform or by other method depending on composition of concentrate.
