FIELD: gold mining. SUBSTANCE: initial material is ground to fineness no greater than 5 mm and treated with hydrochloric or nitric acid, after which sodium or potassium alkali or their mixture or mixture of these alkalis with organic substance, e.g. sugar, is added. Mixture is heated to at least 90 C, aged at this temperature, and leached with hot water. Liquid part is poured off and gold crystals are extracted from solid precipitate with hydrochloric acid solution. EFFECT: increased concentration of gold to at least 99%. 4 cl
