FIELD: materials handling facilities; storage, shipment and exhibition of cylindrical articles, such as bottles. SUBSTANCE: container and box has frame-work and box made of sheet material blanks by bending the flaps relative to marked lines. Container has posts, bridges and shelves forming cells for boxes made with corrugated side walls. To facilitate handling, projecting parts of corrugations of one side wall of box are located either opposite to projecting portion of corrugation of other wall or opposite to concave portion of corrugation. Distance between shelves of container cells exceeds height of box height of framework bridge. Face walls of box are made with double bending line whose thickness is equal to thickness of framework bridge. Material of blank on flaps forming face walls of box has weakening line connecting ends of double bending line with edges of box cover. EFFECT: enhanced quality of storage and shipment. 9 cl, 19 dwg
