FIELD: mechanical engineering, in particular, obtaining of high corrosion-resistance coating. SUBSTANCE: electrolyte contains zinc sulfate, lead acetate, aluminum sulfate, Trilon B and equalizer A-benzenesulfate methyl diethylaminomethyl of alkylphenol polyglycol ether at predetermined component ratio. Electrolyte allows coating of light color with increased adhesion to steel base to be obtained. Such coating withstands 90 deg flexure without cracking and does not delaminate from base upon heating at 250 C for 1 hour with subsequent abrupt cooling.
