SUPPLY SYSTEM OF GAS INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

FIELD: transport engineering; supply of automobile carburetor furnished with gas bottle installations. SUBSTANCE: supply system has gas pressure regulator with inlet and outlet stages and shutoff-and-throttling device with plate shutoff valve and axial displacement diaphragm mechanism placed between stages of pressure regulator. Diaphragm mechanism is made in form of low-pressure box whose space, through axial branch pipe, is connected to space outlet stage. Shutoff-and-throttling device has rod one end of which, through hole of axial branch pipe, is driven into space of low-pressure box and is fastened to its moving portion from inside, and second end rod is connected to plate shutoff valve and is furnished with conical throttle at side of outlet stage, throttle being provided with travel stop. To increase reliability of supply system, diaphragm box is made of two metal diaphragms hermetically but-joined through their edges. EFFECT: simplified design of supply system, enhanced reliability of engine operation. 2 cl, 2 dwg
