FIELD: food industry, pharmaceutics; delivery of clean compressed air free from oil additives for treatment of food, pharmaceutical and other sensitive materials. SUBSTANCE: intercooler is connected between stage of compressor with working impellers. Shaft is installed on supports which have two support bearings and at least one thrust bearing with air or gas lubrication and self-aligning turnable segment supports with ceramic support surfaces. One of support bearings is placed between corresponding end of electric motor and corresponding stage with working impeller. EFFECT: possibility of use of compact compressor, provision of high pressure with relatively low mass flow rate. 10 cl, 2 dwg
