FIELD: gas supply.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in gas supply for utilization of compressed natural gas flow energy, simultaneous production of mechanical energy and cold resource. Turbine expander power plant (TEPP) comprises a turbine expander connected to a source of high-pressure gas at the inlet and a low-pressure gas consumer at the outlet. TE is made in the form of three-stage blade axial machine with partial nozzle device. Shutter is installed at output of TE. Impellers of each stage of TE have zero or close to zero degree of reactivity. Height of impeller blades of the first stage does not exceed 0.02 m, and circumferential speed of rotation of the working shaft does not exceed 7 m/s. As supports for the working shaft rolling bearings are used.

EFFECT: technical result is reduction of internal leaks of reduced gas, in flow part of blade machine and in shaft seals.
