RADIATION TUBULAR HEATER Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

FIELD: radiation tubular heaters (radiation tubes) used as heaters in heating and heat-treating furnaces. SUBSTANCE: flame tube is made from separate sections; inlet section of flame tube has flange directed towards end of recuperator and ports for passage of combustion products from space between flame and radiating tubes. Outlet section is provided with blank and ports for escape of combustion products from flame tube. Between inlet and outlet sections there is required number of intermediate sections. Units for connecting sections consist of inner cone at end of cone section and outer cone at end of engageable section and bosses forming system of clearances for passage of combustion product and shift of sections relative to one another in all directions at temperature deformation of radiating tube.
