FIELD: ventilation and air-conditioning system for transport facilities. SUBSTANCE: heat-exchange plates of cooling unit are wetted in tray filled with water, after which they are shifted in succession first to area of auxiliary flow consisting of atmospheric air where working plates are cooled due to intensive evaporation of moisture from their surface and then to area of main flow consisting of room air and part of atmospheric air where cooling working plates get in contact with air of main flow cooling it; working plates are moved in plane perpendicular to axes of auxiliary and main flows, after which air of auxiliary flow is discharged into atmosphere and air of main flow is directed to room to be conditioned. Main air flow is subjected to dedusting before cooling and at room outlet it is saturated with negatively-charged ions. Device for realization of this method includes housing, tray filled with water, fans of auxiliary and main ducts fitted on shaft of electric motor, cooling unit consisting of shaft, hub with heat-exchanger working plates mounted on it, inlet and outlet branch pipes and stepping drive. Cover of housing is provided with additional branch pipes and outlet branch pipe of main flow is provided with negative electrodes of high-voltage source and moisture-content sensor. Device is provided with disk filter engageable with hub through satellite unit and water low-level sensor.
