FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: storage battery is assembled of disk-shaped series- connected metal-gas cells filled with electrolyte, case-mounted heat pipe, and two coaxial cylindrical spacers installed in case. One external end of spacer is loosely mounted in one of case bottom plates and its other end is rigidly fixed in opposite bottom plate of case. Diffusivity ratio of internal and external spacers is between 20 and 30. Heat pipe is installed in central duct of internal spacer, and disks are fitted onto external cylindrical spacer.
