FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: this relates to construction of berthing structures in the form of embankment trestles primarily in conditions of water areas which are non-protected from waves. Berthing structure is divided at front into sections which are resting on pile shells of piled base. Head-pieces of pile shells are built in guide jigs which are rigidly connected with superstructure. Each guide jig is made in the form of rigid framework of superstructure section. Superstructure is arranged from system of crossing horizontally located paired longitudinal and lateral beams which are spaced from each other in all pairs at equal distance which is larger than external diameter of pile shells. Head-pieces of pile shells are built in superstructure openings formed at points of crossing of all pairs of longitudinal and lateral beams of stiff framework of superstructure sections. Adjacent sections of superstructure are interconnected to each other at front side of structure with possible turning of one section relative to other around horizontal axis and perpendicularly to extreme configuration of structure. Turning of sections can be effected for example of means of hinges installed on side faces of rigid frameworks. Structure has berth-backing slope. Made in upper part of berth-backing slope is wave energy damping chamber having its front wall made in the form of triangular prism erected from filling of configurated blocks such as hexahedrons, and with rear guarding in the form of vertical battering wall. The embodiment of structure increases its strength and stability and particularly stability of berth-backing slope and ensures high degree of wave damping together with reduced labour-intensity in erection and shorter period of construction.
