FIELD: hydraulic building, particularly to reconstruct existent berth structures with design depth increase at berth structure apron.
SUBSTANCE: method involves deepening ground-retaining wall in ground in front of berth structure; fastening upper part of ground-retaining wall and removing ground layer in front of the wall. Ground-retaining wall is submersed in ground so that upper wall edge is below water level in water area. Upper wall part is fastened by means of inclined ground anchors through distribution belts, wherein the ground anchors are arranged between berth structure columns and spaced from them. Ground anchors may be installed with the use of drilling platform mounted in front of berth structure.
EFFECT: reduced labor inputs and reconstruction time.
