FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention is meant for use as key electrical equipment of electric power stations, substations, power lines and other electric installations. Proposed transformer is composed of magnetic circuit 1, two windings 2 and 3 wound in one direction with equal number of turns per one magnetic circuit. Windings are placed with leads-out into series circuit. They are connected with leads-in to power supply source. Load is connected in parallel to each winding. Current i that causes emergence of magnetomotive force is in each winding flows through windings 2 and 3 with connection to power supply source. Since windings 2 and 3 have equal number of turns their magnetomotive forces will be same and thanks to interconnection of leads-out of windings 2 and 3 in series circuit their magnetomotive forces will compensate one another. In this case their magnetic permeabilities will change. Magnetic permeability of core will restore with fall of current. As result of it electromotive force is induced in windings 2 and 3 between their connection point and leads due to which voltage across output steps up 10-20 times. EFFECT: stepped-up voltage across output of transformer. 1 dwg
