SUBSTANCE: to be used in electrical engineering. Opening of the secondary winding of the current transformer causes core overheating, insulation failure and can cause a fire, and also creates a threat to personnel from increased voltage. In the circuit of the current transformer with three secondary windings, an intermediate transformer with three primary windings and one secondary winding connected to the reacting body, time holding organ and with the executive body, and to each secondary winding of the current transformer, a series-connected load and one of the primary windings of the intermediate transformer are connected, the first and second primary windings of the intermediate transformer have the same number of turns and are turned on, and the third primary winding of the intermediate transformer has a number of turns twice as large and is turned on against the first and second secondary windings of the intermediate transformer.
EFFECT: providing monitoring of the integrity of secondary circuits in current transformers with three secondary windings having the same transformation ratio.
