SUBSTANCE: device has controlled valve 1, current sensor (limiter) 2, variable resistor 3 provided with control lead 4 and built around transistor 5, rectifier 7 built around diodes 8, load 18, leads 6, 10 for connecting control voltage supply, and leads 14, 15 for connecting ac voltage supply. Novelty in device is introduction of current sensor (limiter) 2 and its connections, variable resistor 3 and its connections, lead 10 for connecting control voltage supply, and additional switches 25, 26 and their control circuits. All these measures provide for limiting load current and automatically shaping control signal or electric signal, or combined optimal minimal-length signal including parameters of ac voltage supply, control-voltage supply, load, , and transformer, if used, as well as individual current-voltage characteristics of controlled valve employed, effect of external factors such as temperature, overload, etc. thereby reducing magnitude and rate of change of power current through structure area originally connected.
