SUBSTANCE: method involves using spectral parameters of data blocks of several channels to balance desired quantity of data on separately coded signals of both channels and to provide joint coding of signals coming from channels until quantity of joint-coding data exceeds quantity of data on separate coding of signals from respective channels by desired value. When this occurs, spectral parameters of data blocks become identical so that joint coding is preferred. In case of different signals, balancing causes separate transmission of signals. Joined coding of signals arriving from several channels is abandoned for the time being in favor of separate coding to prevent noise. EFFECT: improved reliability and noise immunity. 10 cl, 1 dwg
