FIELD: ophthalmology. SUBSTANCE: prior to using the device, spine area is pressed, which disturbs insulation of external and internal sections. In this case, water passes to internal section where endothermic reaction between water and potassium thiosulfate takes place. As a result, medicinal substance contained in reservoir is cooled. After sufficient cooling, flexible reservoir is punctured by any sharp object, and its contents are pressed out in spray on damaged area. Device has reservoir made of flexible material and containing liquid medicinal substance. Reservoir is placed in double-section chamber manufactured of flexible material. One section is arranged inside the other. Larger section is provided with spine, and smaller section has part of lower strength corresponding to spine. Sections are filled with components which enter into endothermic reaction when mixing, for example, potassium thiosulfate in the form of dry powder with water. This sequence of actions reduces painful syndrome in all kinds of injuries and burns, provides for prompt arresting of edema and inflammation of damaged tissues and prevents hemorrhages from developing. EFFECT: enhanced treatment. 3 cl, 1 dwg, 3 exps
