METHOD FOR TREATMENT OF SOFT TISSUES OF PROSTHESIS BED Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

FIELD: medicine, in particular, magnetotherapy. SUBSTANCE: method includes registration on controlled area of patient's face skin of amplitude value of electromagnetic oscillations induced in the tissues by electromagnetic fields as a result of its biological activity. Formed in compliance with the registered value is low-frequency pulse complexly modulated electromagnetic field with the following parameters: pulse recurrence rate, 3-80 Hz; modulation frequency, 0.3-0.8 Hz; spectral width of harmonic components, from 500 Hz to 1 kHz. Complexly modulated electromagnetic field acts on affected area of soft tissues of prosthesis bed through face skin in the region of affected area projection on it. Them pulse recurrence rate is formed from 80 to 120 Hz and the same area of face skin is exposed to complexly modulated electromagnetic field. Duration of procedure is 10-25 min. Total number of procedures is 2-10. Controlled area of face skin is selected in the form of point of outlet of face branch of trigeminal nerve.
