FIELD: generation of ozone with use of pulse corona discharge. SUBSTANCE: proposed ozone generator includes corona-forming and not- forming electrodes. Corona-not-forming electrode, at least its part that contacts discharge, is made from aluminum or aluminum alloy or from conducting alloy with thermal conductivity above 50.0 W/m•deg. Source of high-voltage pulses with function of high-voltage switching on and off provides for specific power of pulse corona discharge exceeding 50.0 W/l. Pulse repetition frequency exceeds 500 Hz, ratio of amplitude of pulses of high voltage to amplitude of residual constant voltage between pulses amounts to 1.5-3.0. Invention makes it feasible to increase concentration of ozone to over 20.0 g/cu.m ( needed for practical usage of generator ) with minimal energy cost of ozone generation at level of 10.0 kWh/kg of ozone in proposed ozone generator using pulse corona discharge. EFFECT: increased generation of ozone with minimal energy cost. 1 cl, 2 dwg
