FIELD: chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of refining ethylene-containing gas from C3, C4, C5-olefins by their selective catalytic conversion to concentrate gaseous phase with ethylene. Raw is contacted with catalyst based on zeolite of type pentasil where part of aluminium atoms is substituted by isomorphic method with iron and boron cations at mole ratios Si/Fe = 50-1250, Si/B = 60-550, Si/Al = 20-250. Process is carried out at 250-350 C, under pressure 1-40 atm and weight/volume rate of raw feeding by C3-olefins and above from 0.1 to 10 h-1.. Benzene or benzene-containing fractions can be added to reaction medium also. Process is carried out at 15-300 C, under pressure 1-40 atm, weight/volume rate 1-30 r-1 by benzene and C3+-olefins and at mole ratio benzene : C3+-olefins = 1-4. The preferable catalyst is ZSM-12 where aluminium atoms are substituted by isomorphic method with iron and boron cations at mole ratios Si/B = 50-1250, Si/Fe = 65-200, Si/Al = 50-250. Method ensures to enhance refining degree of gas from C3+.-olefins. Method can be used in petrochemical industry and oil processing. EFFECT: improved method of refining. 4 cl, 1 tbl
