FIELD: petrochemical processes. SUBSTANCE: invention, in particular, relates to production of lead-free high-octane gasoline fractions and/or aromatic C6-C10-hydrocarbons from C2-C12-hydrocarbon stock and/or oxygen-containing organic compounds (alcohols, ethers, etc.). Method includes first stage in which hydrocarbon stock is brought into contact with catalyst based on Pentasil zeolites at elevated temperature and excessive pressure followed by separation of products, stabilization and rectification to isolate gas products and gasoline fraction. Part of gas product is subjected to pyrolysis. Pyrolysis products or their gas components are combined with hydrocarbon stock to be fed into the first catalytic stage. EFFECT: increased yield of desired products and increased anti-knock property of gasoline. 2 cl, 7 ex
