FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: method is intended to be used when producing iron-ore agglomerate for blast furnaces. Method includes withdrawal of a part of effluent gases, mixing them with air, feeding the mixture into agglomeration machine over a special dome, and sintering during aspiration of raw material through gas mixture layer. Zone of partial cooling of agglomeration cake is formed on agglomeration band. Recycle gas is obtained by mixing gases from sintering and partial-cooling zones and distributed throughout sintering and cooling zones. Cooling process is carried out in such a way as to provide maximum temperature of cake leaving the band to be 0.6-0.7 its melting temperature. EFFECT: reduced harmful discharge into atmosphere, improved quality of agglomerate, and reduced heat consumption. 1 tbl
